Anonymous asked: I know I'm one to talk because I don't make captions, but why do you think you got such a small turnout for this contest? The quality of the captions is great but it's a pretty low quantity from previous contests. Is it the subject? I was really excited for the bondage theme.
Me: I'm not sure. It's probably a combination of things. The number of entries has declined since the second contest except when I extend the deadline and beg people to send in more - which I didn't do this time. So it could be that people just aren't into the contests as much as they used to be. It could be the theme but in the last two "theme polls" I did, bondage got a lot of votes. I was thinking about maybe not doing another contest for a long time, but then I see the quality of the captions that get turned in and I hear how much fun the participants have. Especially now, with Elena Starz's site down, I think I should keep doing them so people who like making captions but don't want to maintain their own website have a place to post them.

Anonymous asked: Thanks to everyone who made captions for the current contest. They all are sooooo amazing. But I really want to see what you would do with those pictures and this theme. Would you maybe caption these pictures and show us what you would have done. maybe after the contest is over?

Would you like to see me caption some or all of the images that were used in the caption contest or do you consider those images "used" and you'd like me to caption new images? Vote in the comments section of this post.
